Fiddler Extraordinaire

Today I met Abbey Macleod, fiddler extraordinaire. It was at the Celebration of Life on June 24th, for Donald Crawford my father in law that I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Abbey. Abbey is the granddaughter of Audrey, who was married to Donald. Abbey stood up in front of 150 plus people and performed two wonderful songs during this afternoon of celebration.

Abbey decided to pick up the fiddle at the age of 6, and now at 14 is hammering out the tunes we all love so much. Once the day was completed and we headed back to Audrey’s, I asked Abbey if she wouldn’t mind posing for a few portraits. With much grace and enthusiasm she agreed.

Keep your eyes and ears open for the years to come to have the pleasure to hear her play.
