Ireland
Ireland has to be one of the most spectacular places I have been. we only had a week to vist, so we made the most of it. Flew into Dublin and rented a car, then headed to Killarney for a couple of nights and a few pints, pints and pints. What a great place to kick off the Ireland vacation. day trips to Kinsale, the Ring of Kerry and Dingle. Such a beautiful and interesting landscape. Headed north through Abbeyfeale, Limerick, Ennis off to Doolin and a many more pints, long live Guinness.
Doolin was such a great place to stay for a few more days. Pub after Pub and music that you could not get enough of. Great pub grub as well, but by this time we were missing our daily salad input, haha. Burren and Cliffs of Moher are not to be missed. Mind blowing views and body moving wind gusts. Very windy day it was.
A boat trip over to Inisheer was a rough sea adventure, thank goodness it was only a 30 minute trip. And of course a few more pints to settle things down and a carriage ride around the island.
Rich with history everywhere we went and friendly folks that are so willing to share a story, and of course a pint.
